2. Các câu hỏi thường gặp về New Year

How do you celebrate New Year?

I usually celebrate the new year with my family and relatives. We would all gather at our grandparents' house and spend the day together. My mother and my aunts will prepare a hearty breakfast. We play board games and watch movies together. We went to the temple in the evening and watched the fireworks at night.

Do you still remember a New Year that you celebrated?

Yes, when I was in 10th grade, we all decided to celebrate Tet in Da Nang instead of having it at our grandparents' house. We stayed at a resort there, right next to the beach. It is so relaxing to hear the sound of the ocean waves in the morning. On New Year's Eve, we went to a party on the ferry and had a dance of the night.

Do you have any ceremonies to celebrate the New Year in your country?

On New Year's Day, we usually go to relatives and friends' houses to wish each other New Year and give each other red envelopes.

Why do people think New Year is a new beginning?

People think the New Year is a new beginning because they feel it is the time to change their lives, do new things, say goodbye to old bad habits, and make new goals in the new year.
